Hello everyone! I haven’t done a Tag post in a while, and this one sounded really fun so I wanted to give it a shot! It’s called 50 Facts About Me, which is pretty self-explanatory. Some stuff you may know; others may surprise you. So let’s get started!
— My favorite movie is a tie between Anchorman and Rocky Horror Picture Show.
— I’m obsessed with Disney movies and other 90s nostalgic stuff.
— I really do wish life could be more like a musical.
— I want to get a few tattoos. I don’t have any at the moment, but I have a few ideas in mind for the future. One of the ideas involves my sister getting the same tattoo in honor of our grandpas who passed away recently.
— I own far too many nail polishes. My boyfriend even built me a little shelf display for them so they didn’t take up a ton of room in our hall closet.
— I love rap and hard rock, especially Eminem, The Prom Kings, Theory of a Deadman and more.
— Margaritas and peach flavored Long Island Ice Teas are my favorite drinks.
— I have both of my ears pierced twice, and those are my only piercings.
— I didn’t drink any alcohol until I turned 21.
— I’ve seen every episode of The Office at least five times, most a lot more, and I own all the seasons on DVD.
— I met my boyfriend on a dating website and then discovered we worked in the same building, only one floor apart from one another, for a year before we started chatting.
— I’ve been cruising through episodes of Gilmore Girls since it recently was put on Netflix Instant about two months ago. I won’t tell you how far I am, but I’m pretty close to being done. Oops. #sorrynotsorry
— I love playing board games! Clue and Life are my favorites, but I’m also a master at Mancala and trivia games.
— Michael Buble has been and always will be my favorite singer. Like for realz, I love him. I saw him in concert once, which was the weekend of my 21st birthday, and he is just amazing. Also, I’m a dork.
— I’d never had a facial before working at Ulta, and now I’ve had two and they are awesome. If you haven’t gotten one, do it.
— I love Target. It has everything. It is just the best. The end.
— I also love candles, especially the three-wick ones from Bath & Body Works. Right now my favorites are Wasabi Apple and Pumpkin Caramel Latte.
— I have one sibling, and she’s seven years younger than me.
— I own two leopard-print shirts and one leopard-print dress. Meow.
— I am not a very patient person. At all. Oops.
— Twitter is my favorite social media outlet. If I could just sit on there all day, reading people’s tweets, I’d be a happy lady. Probably (more than) a little crazy, but happy.
— I sneak food and/or pop into the theater every single time I see a movie.
— I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies.
— I’m a big Harry Potter nerd. As are some of my coworkers.
— Random story: The blush I’m wearing today is called Cabana Boy, and it’s by The Balm. Earlier this afternoon, I stopped at Northern Light Coffee with a coworker, and their special drink of the day was called Cabana Boy. I obviously had to get it, and it was delicious.
— I’m obsessed with makeup. This should be fairly obvious, but it still had to be said.
— I use sarcasm way too much. Or do I? Mwahaha…Um, yes. Yes, I do.
— There are some conversations where I speak only in quotes from movies or TV shows. #sorrynotsorry.
— I can relate almost any situation to an episode of The Office. Just ask my coworkers. Seriously, at least once a day I say “Oh hey, that reminds me that one time on The Office…” even though no one else here loves The Office like I do (or even watches it on a regular basis). Once again, #sorrynotsorry.
— I’m a sucker for quotes. Whether it’s looking at quotes on Pinterest or buying all the wall art, I’m basically surrounding myself with funny or inspirational quotes all the time.
— Writing and editing are my life. To me, heaven on earth would be to edit other people’s work and write all day, every day.
— I’m a Grammar Nazi. I correct other people’s grammar all the time, but I also correct myself if I misspeak/miswrite something, so even I’m not immune.
— Starbucks Double Shot drinks from the gas station basically give me life.
— I’ve always wanted to go skydiving. I think I’d be absolutely terrified, but it would also be exhilarating.
— Bad design drives me crazy. But it also makes me laugh. Ditto with bad Photoshopping.
— My inbox has to be clean at all times, with no messages marked as unread. For some reason, having unread messages or even texts drives me absolutely bonkers.
— I used to be almost fluent in French, but I’ve lost it over the years. I hope to relearn the language again soon because it’s so beautiful and interesting to me.
— I went to France, Italy, Switzerland and Monaco on a school trip back in 2007, and I can’t wait to go back again sometime.
— I love sushi, especially from Bangkok Corner. Their Caterpillar roll is to die for.
— My favorite wines are White Zinfandel and Pink Moscato. As a matter of fact, I might a glass right about now…
— I love pretty much any and all musicals. For most of today, I’ve had songs from Legally Blonde The Musical stuck in my head. Not that I’m complaining!
— I have a weakness for chocolate and caramel. And Twizzlers. And ice cream. Yeah, you get the point.
— I went to school for print journalism, and now I have a blog and write copy for emails and the web for a college alumni center.
— I hate socks in general, but I love fuzzy socks. Especially pink fuzzy socks. Which I may or may not be (but definitely am) wearing right now.
— My favorite perfume of the moment is Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh. I used to have a rollerball of this fragrance, but it was in my purse, which was stolen on Thanksgiving.
— Oh yeah, my purse was stolen on Thanksgiving from my boyfriend’s locked car in a Walmart parking lot. Luckily I had my wallet with me, but I did lose my glasses, Kindle and my favorite lip products.
— I love having a clean house, but I hate vaccuuming and doing laundry. I don’t really know why, but I hate both of those chores. I love how clean the floors get and having clean clothes, but I hate the process of getting them there.
— I have never eaten a cherry in my life.
— My favorite chapstick is the EOS balm in the scent Coconut Milk. I’ve tried other EOS balms and didn’t like them because they were too waxy, but the Coconut Milk one is the bomb.
— My boyfriend and I have an adorable dog named Bella. She’s a mix of a black lab and a dachshund, which I promise is even cuter than it sounds. Her name is Bella, and she is very spoiled.
