My first foray into really doing anything with my eyebrows besides plucking or waxing was last year when I discovered the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil. It worked well for filling in any sparse spots on my eyebrows, but I noticed that because my skin gets oily throughout the day, the color would fade in certain spots.
Then Anastasia Beverly Hills released a new product about a month or so ago, and my prayers were answered. It’s called the Dipbrow Pomade, and it’s amazing.
It comes in a little jar similar to the Maybelline Color Tattoos, and you have to use an angled liner brush with it. You just dip the brush lightly into the product, then run it in short strokes in the shape of your eyebrow. I just fill in gaps, but you could also use it outline your brows and then fill them in. The texture is great because it’s almost like a mousse, so it just glides over your eyebrows.
I find you don’t need as much as you think you do on your brush; it’s easier to add more product onto your brows than try to take it off later. This stays put on my brows all day and doesn’t come off until I use makeup remover.
If you’re looking to do something with your brows and still keep them looking natural and not drawn on, I think this would be a great product to try. Since you don’t need to use very much at a time, it should last quite a while, so I think it’s well worth the price. It takes a little bit to get used to how you want to shape your brows with this product, but once you get it down, you can get your brows done in like a minute or less.
