I haven’t been wearing much makeup lately, so these are mostly skincare and other favorites. Let’s get into it!
Lume Acidified Body Wash – Tangerine
I saw someone on TikTok make a video about this body wash, and she said it got rid of the discoloration on her thighs (people with thick thighs get it!), so I knew I had to pick it up right away. I’ve been SO impressed by this body wash, which is something I haven’t said in a very long time haha. It helps with any discoloration, bumps, you name it without being too harsh on the skin. Plus, it smells divine! I used up one bottle and need to buy another ASAP.
Fine’ry Magnetic Candy Eau de Parfum
I’m still obsessed with My Way from Armani, but I decided to try a new perfume on a whim at yet another Target trip a few months ago. I usually don’t like super sweet fragrances, but this one is sweet with layers of other scents, and I love it. It’s not musky, but I’m not sure what the fragrance notes are. I get compliments all the time when I wear it, and that’s the true test of a perfume, am I right?
Monday Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner
My bestie who moved to Ohio two years ago surprised me with a visit last week when she walked into my house (she had coordinated with my husband and I did NOT see it coming), and for part of her visit we stayed at a local hotel that had an outdoor pool. It was magical, but we had to stop by Target first because she didn’t have space in her luggage for her big haircare from her house. We picked these up, and they’re only $6 each! I was a little skeptical, but they made my hair SO soft, smooth and silky! They have a bunch of different formulas to choose from, but I’m really happy with this one, especially for the price.
Cocokind Resurrection Polypeptide Cream
I’ve honestly loved every single product I’ve tried from Cocokind, and this is no exception. It’s a really thick cream, and since I have oily skin I only use this at night. It doesn’t have much of a scent to it, and it makes my skin feel so soft, smooth and rejuvenated. I love it!
Book: King by S.J. Tilly
Ok look. This book is super spicy, yes, but it also has a lot of plot to keep you interested. It’s the second book in the series, and while I really enjoyed the first book, this one was just unmatched. It’s got forced marriage/forced proximity, enemies to lovers, super spicy scenes…I mean, it’s just got it all! And I was here for ALL of it. 10/10, would highly recommend
Movie: The Lost City
I’d heard about this movie a long time ago but hadn’t watched it until earlier this week. It was SO GOOD! Sandra Bullock is everything, and Channing Tatum is so much funnier than I thought he’d be. Is this movie absolutely ridiculous? Yes. Is it realistic? Probably not at all in the slightest. But it was so fun and funny and I’m here for it. Go check it out if you haven’t already!
TV Show: Vanderpump Rules
I’m sure I’ve talked about this show before, but I’ve been rewatching all the seasons while we wait for more drama to drop whenever the next season comes out. The drama these people go through and the money they spend is truly unparalleled. But I can’t get enough of it! And now that I’ve seen it all before, I have a different perspective on some of the people and situations they get themselves in. What messy people, I tell ya!
Podcast: Two Wands Podcast
This podcast is hosted by Aerial and Johnna, and it’s all about life, business and intuition. I actually recorded an episode with them last week, so I’ll definitely share the link once it’s live! It’s a new podcast so there are only a few episodes so far, but it’s so good! They’re all about inspiring, motivating and getting real about the challenges and opportunities in our lives and businesses and what we can do to make things easier on ourselves. Love!
