Hello everyone! It’s finally time for me to review what I got in my August Ipsy bag! The theme was Beauty Schooled. Jersey Shore Sun Mongogo Nutrient Dense Anti-aging Lip Conditioner
This was the one product I forgot to use this month, so I can’t review it for you yet. I can say that it smells really good, though!
Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk
Like I said before, I’m pretty sure I’ve already gotten this in an Ipsy bag when I first joined, so it’s kind of a bummer to get a repeat product. It works fine, but I’m not in love with it. It does have a nice, light scent to it, and even though it sprays out white, it blends into your hair nicely.
J. Cat Beauty Flying Solo Eye Shadow in the shade Half Naked
I really like this color! I have to use it over an eyeshadow base, like the Maybelline Color Tattoos, to get it to last throughout the day, but it is really beautiful. I really like using it as an inner corner highlight or pop of color on the center of my lid as well. This shadow will definitely get a lot of use in the future!
Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner
I loved this! It’s similar in color to Benefit’s Porefessional, but I liked this product more. I noticed immediate results after I pressed this into areas where I have noticeable pores. It worked like a dream, and it didn’t feel heavy or cakey on my face. I put this on before my foundation, and I’ve found that my foundation just glides right on top of this product without caking up or anything. I really like this!
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
I have mixed thoughts on this mascara. At first I really liked it. I love how dark black it is and how it made my lashes look, but it made my lashes feel hard and weird, and throughout the day I noticed my lashes started to clump up a bit. I really wanted to like this, and I did for the first week or so of wearing it, but then for whatever reason I started disliking it and I haven’t used it now in about two or three weeks. I’m pretty disappointed because I’ve tried and loved other mascaras from Urban Decay.
