Hello everyone! Last month I was nominated by Ali from Ali in Bloom to do the Beauty Blogger Tag, so I figured today would be a good day to fill it out. So here we go!

— Is your hair naturally curly or straight? My hair is naturally wavy and also frizzy, which is such a fun combo, so most of the time I pull it back into a bun or side braid.
— Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon? In the past I’ve bought box color from Target and my mom dyes it for me, but last week I went to the salon at Ulta and they dyed it blonde and added pink streaks. So I’ve done both!
— Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it? If I’m running late in the mornings, which I usually am, I just toss my hair in a bun or ponytail since it seems to have a mind of its own and likes to turn into a frizz ball most of the time if I wear it down. But today I straightened my hair, so there ya go.
— Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon? I’ve only gotten a mani/pedi a handful of times in my life, and I think I prefer to do my own at home. I don’t like people touching my feet and I’m super ticklish, so pedis are usually out of the question at a salon. I did get a gel manicure about a week and a half ago at a salon, and I really like how long it’s lasting and how pretty it looks, but I’ll probably just stick to doing my own manis at home now.
— How often do you change your nail polish? That depends. I used to paint my nails more than I do now, so I’d say I currently switch it up every few weeks or so. Since most of my nail polishes don’t last that long without chipping, there’s a week or two here or there where I’m not wearing any polish.
— Do you polish your toes in the winter or just the summer? I don’t polish my toes very often, as I’m almost always in shoes and no one could see it anyway, but I’d say I do it more in the summertime when I’m more inclined to wear flip flops and sandals.
— How long does it take for you to put on makeup? Oh boy. It depends on the day. When I’m running late in the mornings (which, as I’ve already said, happens quite a bit), I can do it in like 10 minutes. If I’m taking my time thinking about what I want to do, it can take quite a bit longer, like 30 or 45 minutes.
— What do you do first? Face or eyes? I almost always do my eyes first in case there’s any fallout from my shadows or if I mess up my eye look. Then I can clean everything up without taking off foundation and concealer and all that.
— Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it? Honestly, a little bit of both, but lately I’ve been
better at saving my money so I’m just buying what I need when I need it.
— How often do you wear false eyelashes? I’ve actually never worn false eyelashes before, but I’d love to try them for a fancy event or something!
— Do you do a full face of makeup everyday? During the week, yes. If I know I’m going to have a lazy day on the weekend and mainly stay home or run a few errands, I’ll just put moisturizer on and maybe some powder if I’m pretty oily that day and just go.
— Do you wear makeup when you’re home alone or with family? I’m less inclined to put on makeup if I know I’ll be at home hanging out with my boyfriend, dog or other family members because I know they won’t judge my imperfect skin haha
— Will you leave the house without makeup? Yep! I’ve been doing that more and more on the weekends now.
— How many high-end products do you have? Hmm good question. I’ve gotten some awesome free stuff from Ulta now that I work there that’s high end, and I own a lot of Urban Decay palettes and such, so I’m not sure about a specific number but most of my products are drugstore.
— Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you’re getting dressed? I have to plan it out every night or I get stressed about all of my options in the morning. I’m that girl.
— How often do you change your handbag? I only change out my purse when my current one breaks or gets really dirty or something, so like once a year maybe, perhaps longer, depending on the quality of the bag.
— What time do you wake up and go to sleep? During the week I work at 7:30 a.m., so my first alarm goes off around 6 a.m. Which means I get up around 6:30 or even 6:45 some days if I’m really stubborn. I try to go to sleep around 10:30, but that never happens. Lately I’ve been climbing into bed around midnight or so, which is a terrible idea, so I need to get better about going to bed earlier.
— How often or when do you workout? For a while I would go four or five times a week, but lately it’s been like once a week. I’ve been a slacker, but I put workout times in my calendar now so I should be more consistent!
— Left handed or right handed? Right handed!
— How tall are you? I’m about 5’3″ or so.
— Do you speak any foreign languages? I took French classes in high school and college, but it’s been a few years and I think I’ve lost quite a bit of what I remembered, unfortunately.
— How many pets do you have? My boyfriend got a dog a few months before we started dating, and her name is Bella and she’s adorable.

— How often are you on Blogger? I use WordPress, and I’m on it every day, whether it be writing new posts, checking my stats or responding to comments.
— Do you read comments posted on blogs? Yes! I try to respond to everyone who leaves a comment on my blog, and if I find a post I enjoy on someone else’s site, I like to read the comments as well to see what people are talking about.
— Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts? There’s always a running list in my head, and I’m sure it’ll just get longer and longer now that I work at Ulta.
— How did you come up with your blog name? I actually don’t quite know; it just came to me! I knew I wanted to write about beauty and makeup, and I wanted to have a unique name that focused on how we’re all beautiful, so Beyoutiful Beauty just popped into my mind. I liked it, so it stuck!
— What kind of camera do you use for your photographs? I just use my iPhone 4S.
— How often do you clean your house? Not nearly as much as I should!
— What’s your favorite color? Pink. Cliche, but true.
— Do you swear? I never used to swear, but I do on occasion now, especially if I encounter terrible drivers.
— What are you doing with the rest of your day? Working at NDSU, and then I have to work at Ulta tonight as well. Tuesdays are long, busy days!
