I decided to start a new weekly series called Brand Spotlight where I highlight a few products I’ve been loving lately from various brands. To kick things off, I thought I’d start with Maybelline because they’re such a high quality brand from the drugstore and I just love them.
Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner
I think this is a very good eyeliner because it’s very black and easy to use. I generally prefer a felt tip to a straight liquid liner, and I’d highly recommend this one.
Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Gloss in the shade One Shine Day
This lip gloss isn’t sticky. At all. I can’t emphasize that enough because it made me so happy when I tried it out! This one is very opaque and beautiful, and there are many other gorgeous colors in this line.
Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in the shade Pink & Proper
The formula for this lipstick is just great. I can’t say it’s the longest wearing one I have, but it is creamy and the color is beautiful. This is a great every day kind of shade, and there are SO many other shades that it’s crazy, so there’s definitely something for everyone!
Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in the shade Pink Me Up
If I want to moisturize my lips and add a bit of color, I grab this product. It has a slight menthol-y scent to it, which I like, and the color is just a like pink that is gorgeous on the lips.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Corrector Concealer
This is a pretty good concealer. The color is very similar to that of my own skin, so I’d say it’s a pretty good match. Apply less than you need, though, and blend it out with your fingers or brush because if you try to just blend with the sponge top, you’ll just get more and more product on your face than you need.
Maybelline The Rocket Volum’ Express Mascara
I’ve talked about this in my favorites post and maybe another post already, so I’ll spare you the same details. This mascara is amazing and you need it.
Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Quad in the shade Amethyst Smokes
They have a lot of great and beautiful quads, but this was my favorite from the display at the store. The shades can be a bit powdery, but they blend beautifully and last a long time, especially when worn over a Color Tattoo shade.

Maybelline Color Tattoos in the shades Pomegranate Punk and Inked in Pink
I love Color Tattoos! Right now these are my two favorite shades because they work as great bases for a wide variety of eyeshadow colors. Seriously, try these if you haven’t yet. I’ve had mine for a few months now, and I haven’t had any problems with the product drying out or anything.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments in the shade Breaking Bronze
I think the other Color Tattoos are a little easier to use, since this is loose pigment, but the color you get from this is just amazing. This is a great neutral, every day shade, but you could really pack on the color if you wanted to really make a statement, too. Great shade range and affordable price for sure!
