NYX has quickly become my favorite drugstore brand by far, so I thought it would be a great company to feature in a Brand Spotlight post.
NYX Matte Finish Long Lasting Setting Spray
This spray is wonderful! I spritz it on my face before putting any makeup on and then once again once my face and eye makeup is completed. I feel like it does a good job of prepping my face to make sure my makeup lasts, and it does a good job of controlling oil throughout the day as well.
NYX Powder Blushes in the shades Bourgeois Pig and Summer Peach
They have a wide variety of blushes available in this line, and I love the two I own. One is a darker matte pink and the other is a bright pink with a little bit of shimmer. These go on nicely, and it’s very easy to build up the color for whatever look you’re going for.
NYX High Definition Eye Shadow Base
I use this every single day, and I love it. I’ve never had a problem with my shadows not lasting throughout the day or creasing, so this is a great dupe for Urban Decay’s Eye Primer Potion.
NYX Tea Tree Blotting Paper
These have been a lifesaver during the day for me if I feel I’m getting really oily. I just grab one sheet and dab it across my face, and the shininess is gone!

NYX Butter Gloss in the shade Eclair
I had never tried any of their butter glosses until about a month ago, and this is the only one I have but I love it. I’ve found that if you wear it by itself, it feels stickier than if you wear it over a lipstick or a different lip product. It’s a beautiful light pink that also has a nice scent to it, so I think it would be a great addition to anyone’s collection.
