This week’s brand spotlight is on Revlon! I never realized how many lip products I had from them, so it was fun looking through the different products I had. Here we go!
Revlon Luxurious Eye Color Diamond Lust Eye Shadow in the shade 105 Plum Galaxy
This eyeshadow color is so pretty! I’m a sucker for purple makeup since it makes my green eyes stand out. This one really stood out to me because it also has a very nice shimmer to it. I do experience some fallout with this shadow, and I’d recommend using this just as a crease color instead of an all-over lid color. Using a Maybelline Color Tattoo as a base under this shadow really helps its longevity.
Revlon Eyelash Curler
I got this for only a couple of dollars at Kmart a few months ago, and I really like it. I use this in the morning before I put on any eye makeup so I don’t worry about messing up whatever look I decided on for that day. It does a really nice job of curling my lashes easily, so I really like it.
Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in the shade 120 Vivacious
This color is great for spring and summer! It doesn’t have great lasting power as compared to the matte balms, but the color and finish are both beautiful. I’m getting more used to the purple lip trend, and this is a nice foray into that because it has a lot of pink tones in it as well.
Revlon Lash Potion by Grow Luscious Mascara
This mascara is very good if you’re looking for a more natural look. It gives nice volume and length, so it doesn’t make it seem like there’s nothing on your lashes, but it’s something that’s very nice for every day. I’d probably wear a different one for a party or if I was going out, but this one is a favorite for me for work.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in the shade 205 Elusive
I really like this lip color, and even though it’s matte I think it’s great for spring and summer as well. Sometimes I like to top this with my NYX Butter Gloss in the shade Eclair for a little something extra. I’ve really been loving light pinks for my lips lately, and this one has great lasting power.
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters in the shades 90 Sweet Tart and 55 Cupcake
I recently discovered these, and I absolutely love them! They seriously feel like butter on my lips and the color they give off is so beautiful. Lately Sweet Tart has been my go-to, every day color because it applies so nicely and evenly. I will definitely look into getting more of these in the future, but I’m really loving these two shades right now.
