It’s Friday, so I figured it was a good time for a short and sweet review. Here we go! It’s no secret that I love lip products, and I’m so excited for spring and summer because that means more bright colors! Since winter seemed to just last on and on, my skin has been pretty dry, which includes my lips. I apply chapstick constantly, and now I think I’ve found a new product that will help my dry, chapped lips immensely: the elf Lip Exfoliator.
I believe this was only about $3, maybe less, at Target, so I figured it wouldn’t hurt anything to try it, and I really like it! I’ve never tried a lip exfoliator before, so I can’t compare it to anything. But this one is great because it has a sugary smell to it and it’s not too harsh on my lips. It is rough, obviously, but I don’t feel like it will tear my lips up or anything like that. My lips feel very smooth afterwards, and then I normally apply a bit of lip balm before another lip product to make sure my lips are moisturized.
For such an inexpensive price, I’d highly recommend this for someone looking for a way to make their lips look and feel less chapped. It doesn’t moisturize your lips or anything, but it does get rid of flaky, dryness for quite a while.
