An Interview with My Boyfriend

Hello everyone! Today I thought I’d bring you a different kind of post: an interview with my boyfriend! I’ve seen posts from both Amanda from Notes at a Newlywed and Katie from Something Winnderful post interviews with their husbands, and they were absolutely hilarious. While we’re not married, my boyfriend and I do live together and we’ve been dating for just over three years now, so I thought this would be a fun activity for us to do a quick little interview. Here we go! Also, just a quick heads-up, we’re very sarcastic, so keep that in mind 🙂

An Interview with my Boyfriend

Me: What is the name of my blog?
Him: Beyoutiful Beauty

Me: What do I typically write about?
Him: Things that deal with makeup and what beauty means to you.

Me: What’s a popular fashion item for women right now?
Him: Headbands.

Me: Why do women go to the bathroom together?
Him: To talk about guys.

Me: What do you know about Pinterest?
Him: I know that’s it’s a website that you can pin stuff from other websites that you think are interesting or fit into your life.

Me: If you could have any job, what would it be?
Him: That’s a good question. A dream job is one where I have good benefits and can make a comfortable living for my family.

Me: That’s cheesy.
Him: Yeah, it’s cheesy.

Me: What about me?
Him: I’d say a writer.

Me: Would I write about anything in particular?
Him: Writing and editing a newspaper.

Me: What’s the best place to shop for women?
Him: That depends on the woman’s style, size and income.

Me: Yeah, but what’s a place just off the top of your head?
Him: JCPenney. Because there’s a Sephora in there too.

Me: What does YOLO stand for?
Him: You Obviously Lack Originality.

Me: Really?
Him: (laughs) Yup.

Me: What about OOTD?
Him: Um…Olive Oil Too Drippy.

Me: What is our favorite thing to do together?
Him: Be together.

Me: Yeah, but that’s not a thing.
Him: It’s getting ready in the morning together for work. I like that. We see each other off for the day.

Me: You’re cheesy.
Him: Shut up. It’s not cheesy if you mean it.

Me: Okay. What do I do when I’m home alone?
Him: You’re either blogging or watching your newest fix for TV shows.

Me: And what do you do when you’re home alone?
Him: I like to organize but mainly watch videos on YouTube.

Me: What is my favorite activity?
Him: Your favorite activity is playing around with makeup and/or writing. Writing about playing around with makeup!

Me: What do women keep in their purse?
Him: Essentials for any known event that may happen: Dry lips, shininess (on your face) and/or you know….Aunt Flo.

Me: Oh dear. What’s my favorite accessory?
Him: Your favorite accessory is headbands, especially lately.

Me: What celebrity would you let me have a free pass with?
Him: None. You’re all mine.

Me: Really?
Him: (laughs) Yep!

Me: What celebrity would you like to have a free pass with?
Him: None. I’m all yours.

Me: (sighs) Alrighty. What’s an acceptable amount to spend on a makeup item?
Him: It’s gonna depend on the quality and the brand and how much you want it. Anywhere from $0 to infinity!

Me: That’s not an answer!
Him: It depends on how much you want it!

Me: Okay, moving on. What’s an acceptable amount to spend on a dress?
Him: See above.

Me: That’s cheating.
Him: It is cheating, isn’t it? (laughs) You asked me to do this.

Me: This is true, I should’ve known. What is your favorite trait about me, not physical?
Him: Your willingness to learn and jump into new things.

Me: Aw thanks. What’s my favorite TV show?
Him: Geez. Well right now it’s Orange is the New Black, that’s one of your top ones. And then probably Golden Girls.

Me: Oh man, I haven’t seen that in forever, but I do like that one. Who is a current celebrity “it” couple?
Him: Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.

Me: Ooh that’s a good answer. Is there anything else you’d like to say?
Him: I had fun in this Q&A. I hope this helps answer any questions you may have about my intellectual knowledge on stuff.
