I normally don’t finish this many products in a month, but it all just kind of happened, so I’m going with it! Most of the products I used up involved skincare, so I decided to list those first. Once I describe the product, I’ll let you know if I plan to repurchase them or not. Please share your thoughts if you agree or disagree!
Olay Age Defying Classic Night Cream
I really liked this cream! When I was on Accutane, I was looking for a good, thick moisturizer to use at night, and this one definitely did the trick. It has a very light perfume-y type scent, but it was nice and not overpowering at all. I don’t know if it really did anything to help with anti-aging, but it did moisturize my skin very well and it did not irritate my skin at all. I would definitely consider repurchasing this in the future.
Ecotools Facial Sponges
Oh my gosh, I love these. My mom first told me about them about a year ago, and I can’t wash my face with anything else now. I buy these packs of three from K-Mart for about $3 I think, or right around there. I get the sponge wet, run it over my face, then add my face wash and a bit more water before rubbing it in circular motions around my face. I thought using a sponge for washing my face would be rough for some reason, but these are super gentle and I feel like they really get deep down in my skin to get it truly clean. I have already repurchased these, and I plan to just keep on buying them basically forever. Try them, and I’m sure you’ll love them as well.
Alba Botanica Natural Hawaiian Facial Cleanser with Pore Purifying Pineapple Enzyme
This is a really nice, gentle face wash that I use both in the morning and at night with a facial sponge. It has a light pineapple scent, which I love, and this brand is natural so it doesn’t have bad chemicals or anything in it. I feel like this does a really nice job of keeping my face clean, and I’ve already repurchased it. Very nice, fresh cleanser!
Ahava Time to Clear Purifying Mud Mask
I got a sample size of this a few months ago, and I love it! I just love face masks, but sometimes mud masks can just be too messy to be worth it. This mask, however is definitely worth it. The product is a dark green/black color, but once you put it on your face it dries to a light brown, which was really funny because when half of my face was dry, my face almost looked camouflaged. Anyway, this mask takes about two minutes to dry, and even though my face looks flaky, it comes off very, very easily. I used a facial sponge to remove the mask, and it was much easier than I thought it would be. After washing it off, my face felt very soft and it just felt really, super duper clean. Ulta sells this brand, but I think it’s pretty pricey. If I had a coupon to use, I’d be more inclined to purchase it since it’s a bit out of my price range.
Sephora Intensive Instant Moisturizer
Around the same time I bought the Olay night cream, I bought this as a moisturizer to use during the day, and I really like it. It also has a light scent to it, which I find really pleasant. It absorbs right away and doesn’t make my skin feel greasy at all. I would definitely consider repurchasing it. I wish it was a little bit cheaper ($20), but I love how it makes my skin look and I always feel very hydrated. I’d highly recommend it for someone with dry skin, especially in the winter time.
Equate Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover
I love this stuff, and I have already repurchased it. This product does a great job of removing even waterproof and stubborn mascara. I believe it’s less than $5 at Walmart, so that’s a great price for such a great product. I don’t really know what else to say about it, but I highly recommend it.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation in the shade 1.0
I got a sample of this at Sephora a few weeks ago, and it lasted me quite a while. I really love this foundation partly because I basically love anything Urban Decay releases. One reason I really like this product is because it has almost a skin-like texture even though it’s a liquid foundation. It blends in seamlessly, and it makes my skin look flawless. The foundation isn’t heavy or cakey at all, and you don’t need to use much product at a time. It’s very lightweight but it has very nice coverage. I would love to repurchase this foundation sometime when I have a little extra money, and I’d recommend this for someone looking for a new foundation.
