It’s time for July empties! I meant to get this post up earlier, but the last week in July has just been flying by so quickly. I finished a few more products than usual this month, and they’re almost all skincare related. So let’s just get started!
July 2014 Empties
Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Total Care Conditioner
I can probably get a few more uses out of this, but I’ll just put it in this empties post now. Am I the only one who uses up the conditioner before the shampoo? This stuff was really nice, and I repurchased a new conditioner from this brand but from a different line than Total Care. I love how these smell, too!
Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave-In Conditioner
I got this in an Ipsy bag a few months ago, and I kind of forgot about it for a while. Then I started using it after every shower and it works really well as a detangling spray. It also smells really good, so that’s good. This little bottle lasted me a couple months, so I’d say you could definitely get your money’s worth with it.
Ole Henrickson Truth to Go Cleansing Wipes
I got these in my June Ipsy bag, and these were very nice! The wipes were wetter than other makeup removing wipes I’ve tried, but they felt really nice and not at all greasy on my face. Plus they smelled like oranges. What’s not to like?!
Maybelline Clean Express! Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover
I’ve gone through a few of these so far, and I really like them! I was planning on buying another one of these once I ran out, but Walmart was out of stock that day. So I tried a different Maybelline eye makeup remover and now it’s in my July favorites!
Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Facial Towelettes
I really liked these! I got them in a recent basket swap, and I’m so glad because these were so nice! They smell like cucumbers and they are very soothing on my face, which feels awesome, particularly after a long day. I’ll definitely look into repurchasing these in the future.
GlamGlow SuperMud Clearing Treatment Mask
I got this little sample size from Sephora a few weeks ago, and it was super awesome! This was a mud mask that hardened after about 10 or 15 minutes, and it washed off very easily with just a bit of water. It made my skin feel super soft, too. I just can’t see myself really ever getting over the $69 price tag for 1.2 ounces of a mask.
Make Up For Ever HD Foundation Primer
I got this as a sample from Sephora a few weeks ago as well, and it was nice. It wasn’t terrible but it also wasn’t amazing, so I don’t think I’ll splurge for the full size.
Cover FX Mattifying Primer with Anti-Acne Treatment
I also got this sample, you guessed it, from Sephora. I lost the little baggie it came in, though, sorry about that! I really, really liked this primer. It was thicker than other primers I’ve tried in the past, but it absorbed really easily into the skin and it really kept my face matte throughout the hot summer days we’ve been having.
