Hello everyone! It’s time for July favorites! When I was grabbing products for this post, I realized that I have been loving a ton of stuff all month long, so let’s get started!
July Favorites
Bath & Body Works Fine Fragrance Mist in Rome Honeysuckle Amore
I don’t think this is available in stores anymore, so you can only get it for a ridiculously inflated price on Amazon. Sorry! I got this as part of the Splendid Swap Party from Allie, and I’ve just been loving it ever since. It has an overly floral scent to it but it’s also slightly sweet, which I just love. I spritz this on a few times in the mornings, and while it doesn’t last all day, I still just love it.
Bath & Body Works Shea Enriched Shower Gel in Coconut Water Chill
When I was in the mall a few weeks ago, I saw there was a wide variety of products available for 70% off or something crazy, so I got this for only $3! I checked on the BBW website and you can still get it for that price, so I highly recommend getting it now! I love the scent of coconut so much, so this has been just perfect for me. It just smells so fresh and summery, and I always feel refreshed after I use it.
Maybelline The Flash Clean Makeup Removing Lotion
I first got this product begrudgingly because the Maybelline eye makeup remover I normally buy was out of stock at Walmart. It’s a lotion as opposed to the typical oily/watery consistency of most other eye makeup removers, so I really thought I wasn’t going to like it at all. It took me a few days to get used to it, but now I love it! You only need a little bit, smaller than a dime-sized amount, on a cotton pad, and then you just lightly swirl it over your eyes. I notice I have to go over my eyes a little bit more when I’m wearing waterproof mascara, but that’s to be expected with that type of product. This always does remove all of my makeup though, so no complaints here!
Eau Thermale Avène Thermal Spring Water
I got a sample size of this in a Birchbox or Ipsy bag at the beginning of this year, and I hadn’t really used it much until the last month or so. It’s been so hot outside lately that I’ve really been gravitating toward this cooling spray because it just feels so nice. After I wash and moisturize my face in the morning, I like to spritz a little bit of this on my face and let it sit for a few seconds before diving into my makeup routine. I feel like it really helps refresh my skin and it just feels so nice.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Dual Effects Eye Shadow in the shade Treasured Bronze
These bronze colors are so gorgeous that this quad has quickly become my go-to look in the morning. The shadows are very soft, and I don’t really experience any fallout with them. These shadows are pretty shimmery in the pan, and they definitely show up that way on your eye, but I don’t think it’s too much for a day look for work or anything like that. These shadows are beautiful neutrals that work really well together to make a complete look, and I’ve just really been loving these lately.
Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Single in the shade Brulee
I feel like this eyeshadow has been a big hit for years and I just now discovered it somehow. This is a perfect neutral cream shade that would work well for an all-over lid color or highlight, but I’ve been using it to set my undereye concealer since it’s a little bit lighter than my natural skin tone. I think this was only like 99 cents at Walmart, too, which is a totally awesome deal. I’d highly recommend this for someone either looking for a good, cheap neutral eye shadow or a powder to set their concealer.
The Balm Cabana Boy Shadow/Blush
I got this blush a month or so ago when The Balm was featured on sale on Haute Look, and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. At first glance I thought it would be way too dark for my light complexion, but it goes on really smoothly and blends so nicely that it’s not a problem at all. It’s like a deep pink with purple overtones to it and a slight sheen, and it has quickly become one of my favorite blushes ever. A little bit goes a long way for sure, and if you put too much on, you can easily blend some face powder over it and you’re good to go.
Bath & Body Works Pocketbac Sanitizing Hand Gel in the scent Island Margarita
Wow, it just must be a Bath & Body Works month for me! I love the BBW hand sanitizers, so of course I had to pick this one up since it smells just like margaritas. It just smells amazing and these are so cute and cheap. I don’t have much else to say about them! haha.
Maybelline Volum’ Express The Rocket Waterproof Mascara
I love the regular version of this mascara, and since it’s summer and sweating definitely happens, I figured it would be good to get the waterproof version too. And I love this one too! I put this on after curling my lashes, and I swear my lashes stay curled all day much better than when I use my other non-waterproof mascaras. Plus you only need one coat, so it’s perfect for mornings when you’re in a rush (or really anytime).
Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm in the shade Pretty Pink
I just got this in July’s Ipsy bag, and I’m already totally in love with it. It’s such a beautiful light pink, and it wears really nicely on the lips. You can apply it lightly for a soft look or really build up the product to have a bright pink look. It also smells really nice and not overly perfumey, which is always appreciated for a lip product. And the packaging is cute, so bonus points!
Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner in the shade Nude
This has been part of my go-to look for over a month now, and I’ve only had to sharpen it like a few times. I also mentioned it in my June favorites, and I’m still really loving it. It really brightens up your eyes in a subtle yet noticeable way. I put this on my lower lashline, and it immediately makes my eyes seem more awake, which is always good for mornings, especially when you oversleep.
Jesse’s Girl Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
I got this in June’s Ipsy bag, and I’ve really been loving it! It’s so easy to use since it has a very think felt tip so I can get a really thin line or a more dramatic cat eye. I also mentioned it in my June favorites, so I’ll just leave it at that.
