July Ipsy Bag Review
Here is what I got in my July Ipsy bag!
Marrakesh Hair Care Marrakesh Endz
I actually liked this more than I thought I would. It has argan and hemp oil in it, so I think it smells heavenly. I’ve just been taking a small amount in the palm of my hands and combing it through my hair, concentrating on the ends. I think it has helped my split ends in the few weeks I’ve been using it. I don’t think it’s mended any of my split ends, at least not yet, but I haven’t noticed any new split ends forming, so I take that as a good sign. Can’t wait to keep using it!
Models Own Nail Polish in Red Sea
I haven’t used this on all of my nails yet, but I did a test of it on one fingernail and was under-impressed by it, honestly. It definitely wouldn’t work as a polish on its own, but it could work well as a topper to a solid color. This seems like a color that would be better for summer than fall, but I’ll still give it a go and see how it works well with the nail polishes I have.
Pixi Beauty Mini Tinted Brilliance Balm in the shade Pretty Pink
I have really been loving this! It’s the perfect light pink shade that provides shine without being too glossy. This has been my go-to shade for the past few weeks, and you can’t even tell that I’ve used any of the product. Definitely a new favorite of mine!
Pur-lisse pur-protect essential daily moisturizer spf 30
I actually seem to have misplaced this, so once I try it out and use it up, I’ll be sure to update you guys! It’s always good to have a moisturizer with SPF on hand for sure.
Bare Minerals 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in the shade Divine Wine
I found that I like this more as a base for other shadows than as a darker shade to intensify an eye look. Once you apply it, you have a few seconds to blend it in before it sets in for good. It definitely stayed put, and the formula is very creamy and easy to work with. This isn’t the type of color I usually go for, but overall I really liked it.
