Hello everyone, and welcome to June empties! This month has really just flown by, and I can’t believe it’s almost July! I only finished up a few products this month, but I really liked a lot of them so I wanted to share my thoughts with you.
Maybelline Clean Express! Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover
I really like this makeup remover, and I’ve already purchased a backup. I think it works much better than the Equate one I used to use. I feel like I don’t have to work as hard to get my makeup off at night, which I really like. Great eye makeup remover!
Secret Clinical Strength Clear Gel in the scent ooh-la-la lavender
I really wasn’t impressed with this deodorant at all. I did like that it has a clear gel formula, especially for summer, but it didn’t really do anything for me. I didn’t think it worked any better than regular deodorant, so I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this over a different deodorant. I did really like the lavender scent, though.
Bumble and Bumble Surf Foam Wash Shampoo and Surf Creme Rinse Conditioner
These samples were awesome! I felt like they made my hair soft and gave it a ton of volume and body. They also smelled really nice and not overly perfumey or anything. If this brand wasn’t so expensive, I’d look into getting the full sizes. We’ll see!
NYX Matte Finish Long Lasting Setting Spray
I think this worked pretty well for my combo to oily skin. I sprayed it on my face before I put any makeup on and then again once everything was done. I did notice a small difference in my makeup lasting longer throughout the day, but it wasn’t a major difference. Overall I liked this but didn’t love it.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
I love this stuff, and I already bought a backup. This was a sample size that I believe came with Too Faced’s A Few of My Favorite Things palette from the holidays. It lasted me quite a while, and I loved how it made my lashes look longer and have more volume. It didn’t even clump up my lashes like some volumizing mascaras do, so I really like this.
Eva NYC Therapy Session Hair Mask
Gah, I love hair masks. This came in my Ipsy bag last month, and I love it. It has argan oil in it, so it smells really good. It made my hair really soft and silky, and I definitely noticed a difference in my hair after I used this once a week.
