Hello everyone, and welcome to June favorites! I can’t believe it’s almost July already. Summer is flying by, so let’s get started!
Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray
I got this in my Ipsy bag this month, and I’ve really been loving it! The packaging says you can use it on damp or dry hair, and so far I’ve only used it on damp hair. You spray it all over your head and then scrunch your hair and either air dry or use a diffuser on a blow dryer. Since it’s been so hot outside, I haven’t even touched my blowdryer, and this works great for dimishing frizz and enhancing my hair’s natural curls. Plus it smells really good, like something nutty, so I really like that as well.
Revlon Colorstay Makeup for Combination/Oily Skin
I’ve really been liking this foundation since I started using it about a month ago. It’s more of a full coverage than my previous foundation, and it has a pretty thick consistency. As the product goes down in the packaging, though, it’s easier to get more out at one time. Even though it is quite thick, it blends very easily into the skin. I’ve alternated between buffing it in with a brush or blending it in with my fingertips, and both methods work well. Another reason I really like this is because it’s made for combo/oily skin, so I don’t get any dry patches on my face like I do sometimes with other foundations.
Jesse’s Girl Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
I also got this in my June Ipsy bag, and I can’t believe how much I love it! It has a thin felt tip that applies very easily over the eyelids without any tugging or skipping. I’ve been able to do both very thin and thicker lines, so I’m really liking the diversity of this product. It’s also pretty easy to do a winged cat eye look, so I’ve had fun experimenting with that as well.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner in the shade Nude
This product works great in my lower lash line to brighten up my eyes and even my face if I’m looking (and feeling) pretty tired. It’s very creamy, and it doesn’t skip when applying. This is a great product that I use every day, and I can tell it makes a big difference compared to when I don’t have anything in my lower lash line.
Milani Baked Powder Blush in the shade Luminoso
I know I featured this in my favorites last month, but I still love it so I had to include it again! I’ve been really liking peach toned blushes instead of pink ones lately, so this has been perfect for me. Like I said before, it gives you a great lit from within glow. It has a bit of shimmer to it, but it acts as more of a highlighter than straight glitter, which I like better.
L’Oreal 24-hour Infallible Eye Shadow in the shade Amber Rush
I’ve used this in almost all of my looks for work over the past month, and I just can’t get enough of it! It’s a beautiful golden bronze color that looks beautiful all over the lid. There’s not much else to say about it besides I love it and everyone should have it.
Urban Decay Electric Pressed Pigment Palette
Okay so in all honesty, I haven’t even used this yet, but I know I’m going to love it so I chose to include it. Is that cheating? Anyway I got this from my boyfriend for my birthday, and I was not expecting it at all! I looked at this every time I was into Ulta or Sephora since it came out, so I’m pumped to finally try it out for myself. Expect a full review of this soon!
