Hello everyone! Today I’ll be reviewing the products I received in my May Ipsy bag. The theme of this month’s bag was Fresh Picks, and I liked that it was mostly skincare related. Honestly, I haven’t used a few of the products yet, but I will soon! This bag was kind of a win-fail for me, but I’ll tell you more about that down below. So let’s get started!
Eva NYC Therapy Session Hair Mask
This stuff was amazing! I really love trying all kinds of hair masks, and this is probably one of my favorites so far. It has argan oil in it, so obviously it smells amazing, I used it about once a week, and it made my hair feel very soft and look really shiny. This sample size lasted me most of the month, so I’m pretty impressed and feel like you get a lot of bang for your buck.
Calvin Klein endless euphoria
I love trying new fragrances, so I’m glad that I got to try this one out. It’s a little more intense and musky than I usually go for, but it’s fun to use every once in a while like for a night out or something like that. It’s a pretty good sizes sample as well, so I feel like it’ll last me quite a while.
Jersey Shore Sun® Sans Tan Anti-aging Sunscreen
I admit that I actually forgot about this product after my initial post when I put it away, so I haven’t used it yet. I love sunscreen all year round, so I’m really excited to try this out. From reading the label, it seems like this will be a really great product, so I’ll update you when my next Empties post is up.
Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow Duo in the shade Duo No. 2 (Moonbeam and Unicorn)
This is another product I haven’t used, but honestly I don’t think I will be using it. The colors looked pretty in the pan, but the swatches were patchy and it took a long time to even build up to what you see in the photo above. From other people’s Ipsy reviews, I’ve noticed no one has been very impressed with these shadows, so I think I’ll just pass on this.
Avène Thermal Spring Water
I’ve never used a spring water before, but I’ve heard they’re pretty popular. I’ve only used this a few times, but I really like it so far. I’ve only used it to spritz my face for a little refreshment throughout the day, and it feels really nice and, well, refreshing! Especially in the summertime, I can see myself using this a lot.
