Hello, lovely ladies and gents!
Welcome to Self-Love Saturday, a weekly linkup where I feature some amazing bloggers. So let’s get to it!
This week I’m so happy to introduce to you Nora from The Petite Mrs.!
Her posts are always so relateable, and I find that once I read one post, I want to just keep reading more and more. I love her writing style, and she just seems to sweet and genuine. I really enjoy her Bloggy Brunch weekly linkup because it involves so many of my favorite bloggers in one place. This is definitely one my favorite linkups to keep up with! One of my favorite recent posts of hers My Daily Schedule (Or How I Fit Everything In) because I LOVE reading about other people’s schedules or time management tips to see how I can incorporate that into my life as well. I also love 10 Ways To Take Care of Yourself in 2016 and Focus: My Word of the Year. Go check her out right now on Pinterest!
What’s your favorite thing to blog about, and why?
I love telling stories from my life because I have been through a lot and I know others will relate to a lot of what I share. I always let them know they aren’t alone with whatever they are struggling with and offer my two cents of advice or motivation.
What does self-love mean to you?
Looking out for your own well-being. Taking care of yourself first and foremost. Physical, emotional, and psychcological Daily check-ins are key for weekly and monthly stamina. The pace of L-I-F-E!
When you’re feeling down, how do you cheer yourself up?
Usually it’s shopping! Dangerous but does the trick. I also love to take hot baths and get pampered any way I can (nails, hair, massage etc). Could also be as simple and easy as a cup of tea or coffee OR a few bites of chocolate…
Who’s been one of your biggest inspirations, and why?
I think for sure-it’s been my friend Pamela lately. We have grown together so much over the past few months of blogging together and as online/text friends. I wish to meet her someday and I just believe in her. We push and encourage each other so much- I am so thankful for her!
What’s something you’d tell your past self if you could?
Be patient, everything happens for a reason. I would never believe this in the past but it’s been proven to me time and time again- so now I do!
What’s your go-to girl power song that always pumps you up?
The Spice Girls. They were my girl power as a kid and I still think they represent a great idea of individuality to young girls and teens even now. They were great positive role models for each kind of personality! I really could relate a different way to each one and that’s a cool kind of group.
What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t?
I want to go back to dancing, any style really. I just wanna move and be more active again. It’s not really a matter of doubting myself (okay, maybe a little…) but more of making a priority and just diving into a class head first.
Stay tuned next week for another awesome blogger. Want to be featured in a future post? Click here!
