I was tagged by TalkerBlogger to do this tag a few days ago, and the questions are fun so let’s get started! There are a ton of questions, but they’re short so bear with me please 🙂
Make-up:
Blush or bronzer: I love both, but I like blush is easier to use and it just makes your face pop
Lip gloss or lipstick: Most lip glosses are sticky, so I’d have to go with lipstick. Check out this post about my favorite lip products for spring to see some of my faves!
Eyeliner or mascara: Mascara! It makes you look more awake. I love eyeliner, but I don’t wear it every day like I do for mascara
Foundation or concealer: Foundation because sometimes you don’t even need to add a concealer on top of everything
Neutral or colored eyeshadow: It depends…for work I like more neutral shades, but at night or just for fun I love bright colors
Pressed or loose eye shadows: I prefer pressed since they’re easier to work with, especially if you’re in a hurry, but loose shadows can give incredible color as well
Brushes or sponges: Brushes because in my experience, sponges soak up too much product
Nails:
OPI or China Glaze: I’ve never tried China Glaze, so OPI! I mentioned one in my post about spring nail polishes, check it out!
Long or short: Medium-length. Is that cheating? My nails bother me if they’re too short or too long
Acrylic or natural: I’ve never used acrylic nails, so natural all the way!
Brights or darks: Right now I’m loving bright colors for everything, but in the winter I prefer darker colors
Body:
Perfume or body splash: Perfume lasts longer than body sprays, so I’d go with perfume
Lotion or body butter: I don’t have any body butters, and I’ve heard they’re great, but I’d have to go with lotion
Body wash or soap: I prefer body wash because it feels more luxurious than regular soap
Lush or other bath company: I’ve never tried Lush products, so I’ll say Bath and Body Works
Fashion:
Jeans or sweat pants: I love both! Sweat pants win for comfort but jeans win for completing a look
Long sleeve or short: Depends on the season! I generally wear short sleeve shirts or tank tops under a sweater or cardigan, but once (if) summer comes, I’ll leave the cardigans in the closet
Dresses or skirts: Once again, I love both! Dresses require less coordination as an outfit, though, so there’s that
Stripes or plaid: Hmm I don’t have much of either, but I’ll say stripes
Flip flops or sandals: I practically live in flip flops in the summer, and I have almost every color from Old Navy
Scarves or hats: I’m not a big hat person at all, and scarves are growing on me, so I’ll say scarves
Studs or dangly earrings: Dangly earrings all the way
Necklaces or bracelets: I don’t like bracelets, so necklaces for sure
Heels or flats: Flats! No contest. Heels can be fun, but they’re so hard to walk in sometimes
Cowboy boots or riding boots: Can I just say flats again?
Jacket or hoodie: I don’t have many jackets, so hoodies
Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe: I’ve neer been to Charlotte Russe, but I do like to buy jewelry from Forever 21
Abercombie or Hollister: Neither
Saks 5th or Nordstrom: I haven’t been to either place
Hair:
Curly or straight: My hair is this weird in between, but generally I prefer it straight
Bun or ponytail: I think buns look more professional, so I do those in my hair more often than ponytails
Bobby pins or butterfly clips: Bobby pins hold better and blend into my hair better than butterfly clips do
Hair spray or gel: Hair spray! I feel like gel would be a disaster in my hair
Long or short: Medium
Light or dark: Light. Right now my hair is a bit dark, as it’s my natural color, but I can’t wait to go light blonde again for summer
Side sweep bangs or full bangs: I’ve had side swept bangs a few times, and I liked them. I feel like full bangs wouldn’t look good on me
Up or down: Now that summer’s coming up (maybe), I’ll say up because it gets so darn hot and humid. Putting my hair up is just easier than styling it down
Random:
Rain or shine: Sunshine is always preferable, but I like a good rainy day every now and again too
Summer or winter: Summer! Ugh I’m so sick of winter right about now
Fall or spring: Fall because that means Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back! 🙂
Chocolate or vanilla: Chocolate! Duh
