Hello everyone, and welcome to my Weekly Wishes #13 with The Nectar Collective! I completely forgot about this post last week (oops), and I’m writing this on Sunday because I have a series of awesome guest posts that will go out this week and I didn’t want to take away from that. Let’s take a look at my wishes from two weeks ago to see if I accomplished them (or not) and then think about my wishes for this coming week. Weekly Wishes is a weekly linkup where you share things you want to get done within the next week and then report on your progress and make more wishes each week and the cycle keeps repeating itself.
Here are my wishes from last week:
— Get caught up on blog posts! I’m definitely getting there! I just lacked motivation at the end of September for some reason, but I’m back now and ready to churn out some great blog posts. I have a really exciting series coming thisweek that I think all of you will really like, so fingers crossed!
— Read more. I did read a bit this week, so I’ll count this as a victory!
Here are my wishes for this week:
— Figure out what to do with my hair. Totally not blogging related, but such is life. I had a free Day of Beauty at Ulta (where I have a part time job) last week, which included a facial, haircut, brow wax and gel manicure, and later this week I have an appointment to get my hair dyed. I keep debating between getting blonde highlights and/or a few lowlights or dying it blonde and adding lavender to the bottom inch or two of my tips. I don’t know if Ulta even does that, but I think it looks gorgeous. Decisions, decisions!
— Get out of my box more. When I first thought of this, I thought about expanding my makeup looks some more and not just doing the same look all the time. But then I thought that this could apply to other areas of my life as well (cheesy, I know, but true). What’s the definition of insanity again? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results? I know I’m guilty of this myself, so I need to break that cycle and get out of my comfort zone more instead of just getting stuck in the motions, you know? Time to break free!
What are your wishes for the coming week?
