Hello everyone, and welcome to my Weekly Wishes #15 with The Nectar Collective! Let’s take a look at my wishes from two weeks ago to see if I accomplished them (or not) and then think about my wishes for this coming week. Weekly Wishes is a linkup where you share things you want to get done within the next week and then report on your progress and make more wishes each week, and the cycle keeps repeating itself.
Here are my wishes from last week:
— Find more ways to incorporate natural products into my routines/life. Success! I think this will just be a work in progress for me forever, but both my boyfriend and I have been doing really well this week when it comes to eating better and using better products for soap and body care items. After writing my Weekly Wishes last week, I felt inspired and wanted to go through the products I own to see how they stacked up, and sadly the majority of my skincare items had some less than stellar ingredients. I’m getting close to using up a few of these products, so I think I’ll just keep using them until they’re gone, like my eye makeup remover, and then I’ll find a better, more natural replacement.
— Focus on happiness more. I’ve been doing better with this wish as well, but I’ll continue to keep it in the back of my mind! It’s just so easy to say, “Well, I would do this but I’m not sure what other people would think.” I actually surprised myself once I realized how often I say things like that, so focusing on happiness more will continue to be a challenge/weekly wish for me!
Here are my wishes for this week:
— Start going to bed earlier. Like seriously. I keep thinking I won’t be super tired in the mornings…but I totally am. And I started this morning by oversleeping quite a bit. I woke up 20 minutes before I had to be at work, got ready super fast, and then was only about five minutes late for work. Whew. Happy Monday! Blah. I just need to get better at making a habit out of going to bed earlier, like before 11. We’ll see how this goes.
— Figure out my costume for Halloween. I’m super excited for Halloween because we get to dress up at work, and my department decided to go with a Harry Potter theme. We all picked out who we would be (although now I’m second guessing it…so we’ll see who I end up being!), and now I have to figure out exactly what I’m going to wear. I might be taking a trip (or two) to a thrift store to see if inspiration strikes, as I’ve gotten items for previous Harry Potter premieres there. I’m just so excited, and I’ll be sure to post pictures!
What are your wishes for the coming week?
