Hello everyone, and welcome to my Weekly Wishes #9 with The Nectar Collective! Let’s take a look at my wishes from last week to see if I accomplished them (or not) and then think about my wishes for this coming week. Weekly Wishes is a weekly linkup where you share things you want to get done within the next week and then report on your progress and make more wishes each week and the cycle keeps repeating itself.
Here are my weekly wishes from last week:
— Really get caught up with the back-end of things on my blog, and write/schedule more posts in advance. I was doing pretty well with getting caught up…and then this weekend I bought The Sims 4. So, that happened. At least I got the momentum rolling on things I want to update, so I’ll continue to do that. As for writing/scheduling more posts, I will definitely try not to let The Sims 4 derail all of my blog plans 😉
— Start reading some of the many, many books I got at the library last week. Success! I started reading Orange is the New Black, and it’s amazing. I’m about halfway through, and I’m surprised at how different most of it is from the series, but I guess that is to be expected. Can’t wait to finish it!
Here are my weekly wishes for this week:
— Continue to cut back on pop. I’ve slowly been trying to really cut down or just eliminate pop totally from my life, and I need to really stick with it. I don’t drink nearly as much pop as I used to, but I could do better. It’s just so convenient because it ‘s everywhere! But so is water, and that’s free pretty much everywhere.
— Disconnect more. I love being online and blogging and social media, obviously, but I’m not very good at disconnecting and being present in the moment very much, especially at night when I’m at home, so I definitely want to work on this. Since I’m a computer at work all day, I really shouldn’t just be looking at screens all night long, too. This will help me not play The Sims 4 every night now as well, so I think it’s a good goal for the coming week haha.
What are your wishes for the coming week?
